Montgomery County School Board in Virginia is excited to announce openings for Special Education Paraprofessional positions for the 2024-2025 School Year. These opportunities, spanning grades PK-5, are part of a continuous recruitment effort to create a robust applicant pool for all schools within our division. - Education Requirements: Highschool GED
- Possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn to operate and maintain a wide variety of instructional equipment
- Possess an interest and ability in working with special education students
- Successful completion of at least 48 semester hours of college from an accredited college or university or a passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment Exam
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Possess the personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Dependability and punctuality required
