Zest Culinary Services ( formerly kown as MMI Dining Systems ) at University of Tennessee Southern, located in Pulaski, TN is seeking a Kitchen Manager. This position manages back of house operations to include food preparation, foodservice, banquet/catering, and lounge service so as to maintain established operational standards and maximize the guest experience. As the Kitchen Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that guest have an outstanding experience by creating a fun and innovative menu, while still managing food cost, inventory and ensuring all sanitation procedures are followed.
If you have at least three years’ experience working as a manager or supervisor in institutional food service or a full-service restaurant, along with experience training both front of house and back of house team members; ensuring that the restaurant and kitchen meet cleanliness guidelines; and have an understanding of budgeting and P&L statements this could be the job for you!
