The Commercial Maintenance Manager is responsible for working closely with the Director of Landscape, account managers and departments to ensure comprehensive customer service, effective operations, and long-term sustainability of the department. You drive the team’s efforts to develop business opportunities and drive all sales, including maintenance contracts and enhancements. You will lead account managers by offering clear and consistent communication and provide guidance with goals and priorities. You set the standard for client interactions by developing strong relationships, with frequent communication, developing mutual trust and meeting or exceeding client expectations. Your team will demonstrate proactive management of client sites by conducting site inspections and communicating suggestions or issues to the client in a timely manner. You thoughtfully participate in staff development, recruitment, and training of new team members. You will train, develop, and celebrate the successes of the team.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 (five) years’ experience in Landscape industry, experience in similar role preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in horticulture preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to present an effective sales presentation, both written and verbal
- Physical strength, stamina and ability to maintain ongoing, prolonged physical activity throughout a scheduled day to include lifting 50 plus pounds
- Must have the ability to work in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain - comfort with noise levels, electrical, chemical and fume hazards
- Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, stretch, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods.
