JOB DESCRIPTION

Anticipated Vacancies 
Under the supervision of a certified school nurse, performs professional nursing activities as the certified school nurse or nurses (see job description)
Attends class trips to provide medical services for students Certified School Nurse deems necessary
Provides after-school nursing coverage for students deemed necessary by the Certified School Nurse

REQUIREMENTS & TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey
Driver's license valid in New Jersey as position requires travel to various District schools and school-sponsored activities, on or off campus
Not to exceed 28 hours per week (schedule may vary)

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification as issued by the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, the National Safety Council or other entities determined by the Department of Health and Senior Services to comply with American Heart Association CPR guidelines
2025-2026 Schol Year
$39.00 per hour. This position does not include health benefits.
